    Med Management Associates, Inc. has partnered with Deer Oaks Behavioral Health to provide the highest quality psychiatric and psychological services to the growing senior population in nursing homes and assisted living communities. Med Management Associates, Inc. is seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Geriatric Nurse Practitioners with 2 years psychiatric experience to join its team. Our Nurse Practitioners work in nursing homes and assisted living centers as part of a multi-disciplinary team that could include psychiatrists, psychologists, neurologists, licensed clinical social workers, and nursing home/assisted living center staff. Our Nurse Practitioners will provide assessments and ongoing medication management, in an interdisciplinary team approach, to ensure the combination of therapy techniques and medication are used for the best patient outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    Through collaboration as a part of an multi disciplinary team assess, plan, evaluate, implement and coordinate care of psychiatric patients, including medication management, education and support for patients.

    Qualifications

    This position requires licensing in the state as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
